Hagerstown Medical Laboratory, Inc. (HML) has a Financial Assistance Program available for patients who find that they are unable to pay all or part of their laboratory bills. This program is based on the Federal Income Guidelines of the household, assets owned by the household and household size.
HML is committed to providing quality health care for established patients regardless of their inability to meet the associated financial obligation and without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, sexual orientation, age, handicap, ancestry, marital status or creed. Financial assistance can be offered during or after services are rendered and the organization will inform the applicant regarding eligibility determination within three (3) business weeks.
You will be notified in writing of the decision regarding this application within 30 days of the submission of your application.
Patients who have not yet applied or have not been approved, will be required to pay for services until such approval is granted. If you have any questions or concerns about your application, please contact us

Please be aware that Financial Assistance does not cover copays, coinsurances or deductibles as applied by insurance.
